Professor Dalla is the man. Having been in the BJJ/Vale Tudo scene for more than 25 years, he is a veteran to the game and has a great wealth of knowledge. Not only this, he is a very nice person and is always looking to help people out. One of the best choices i've made in my life.

Dalla is awesome. He keeps classes fun and lets his students set their own goals. He works with them to help them achieve whatever goals they set. He fosters a great family atmosphere.

Master Dalla is top notch! He has in a short period of time helped my Jiu Jitsu allot! On top of that he is a super good guy! And on the mat a lion!

Professor Dalla is one of the nicest most humble humans I know and not to mention a beast on the mat. It is an true honor to be one of his black belts and would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn the great art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!

I wrote my comments before, hopefully this is not redundant. I believe Northern Virginia is blessed to have Master Dalla right around the corner to teach us. I transitioned from my old school to him two years ago and I could see a huge difference in my game. We dont walk around flashing our belts like I see in other schools where guys stand around and are afraid to roll. Loose or win at master Dalla school, everyone are out to help each other. And this attitude usually comes from the instructor. Even at his age and level, he's still on the mat rolling with us. He's a beast on the mat, and he loves teaching what he knows. He holds nothing back from us. He's an awesome humbled person at heart. We are blessed to have him.

Dalla ranked amongst the world's best black belts in the late 90s era of Gurgel, Roleta, Pe de Pano, etc. You can see him in the mundials and brazilians podium results in that era. Highly technical and still competes even in his late 30s when a lot of instructors or former greats haven't stepped on the mat in a decade (Dalla double golded the 2008 Pans black belt master). His students are known for good technique and they win a lot of medals in national level tournaments under the Big Brothers competition team. If you're looking for a school with a great climate and competition pedigree, you cannot go wrong here.
