I have trained under a lot of bjj instructors. Ray elbe is one of the best jiu jitsu/mma instructors ive had the pleasure of working with. One of the things that seperates him form other instructors, besides being very knowledgable about fighting is he breaks down the moves including the little details that make a difference. I really enjoy training under ray

You know, I've been twice to tiger now, and a lot of people say or you hate em or you love em. I can only say that I'm a fan. He has a very easy going personality, chill vibe, and not only is he a good fighter, he knows to show you when to use what when you're grappling OR doing MMA. All I've learned from him, my trainingpartners could only say how efficient it was. Being good at what you do is one thing, but passing it on to others is a gift. Sincerely hoping to work with professor Elbe again.

Ray Elbe is truly a good instructour. He treats his studekt with great respect and connects with them on a friendly basis. This makes it very easy to focus on learnig and mastering techniques instead of beeing afraid of bowing the wrong way. Elbe is an exelent teacher for bjj in mma, he has allot of experience bothnas a bjj figther and mma. would love come back and train with hin again!!

putting his potty mouth aside Ray Elbe is a great BJJ instructor, he is very vocal and breaks down techniques as clear as a math teacher would break down a fraction. What makes his BJJ teachings different then many others is that he has a high education (teaching degree) mixed with his knowledge and experience in BJJ-MMA that = quality!.

Ray is an awesome coach,he is never scared to show and teach you everything he knows(unlike some bjj instructors) and is always willing to help and fix a problem

Ray teaches BJJ and MMA at TMT while continuing his professional career as a world class fighter. He shares with all his students his real-world experience gained from successfully competing on a professional level. He is also a Coach for both Amateur and Professional fighters. Ray is an outstanding instructor who can pass on his knowledge directly to you, making you the best you can be !

Spent two months at Tiger and was impressed by how approachable and knowledgable Ray was. He goes out of he way to actually create a fun environment whilst still maintaining rigourous teaching. Each time I've returned to my gym the improvements in my game are obvious to everyone. Ray is very good at breaking down moves into their component details and ensuring everyone understands. I would urge anyone to train with him and watch their game improve.

Ray is a very warm and widely talented person which is why it is a privilege to work with him. He has obvious talent in Mixed Martial Arts, people skills, as an instructor, speaking to an audience, simplifying techniques, giving clear explanations and pushing students to reach their potential. Ray is assertive and continually thorough with his explanations in class and when addressing an audience. Ray always has time to ask if you have questions and gives fulfilling answers each time. He is knowledgeable and educated to an impressive extend which makes him a fountain of information. Ray is clearly passionate about his job and is straight forward about his seriousness of teaching. On the other hand, Ray is quite lighthearted and enjoyable to learn with due to his unique sense of humour. In conclusion, I give my highest recommendation that students take advantage of the opportunity to work with Ray Elbe as he offers an impressive set of skills which he is able to transfer into his teachings and is enjoyable to train with.

While I didn't train under Ray at TMT when I was there, I did get to learn from him when he came to Mumbai for a weekend workshop ... & I was sold. I learnt more that weekend about mounts, counters and grappling in general than I thought possible in such a short time. Good stuff. And an excellent coach too ...

I've known and trained with/under Ray for 10 years. He is hands down one of the best I have ever trained with. Great attention to detail, spends lots of time with every individual, gives a great workout and makes training fun.

Has made my transition from wrestling to bjj much smoother. Its nice having a technical as well as competitive coach, he doesnt just show the moves he teaches, he applies them in actual grappling tournaments.
