Professor Dave teaches an incredibly progressive, technical, fundamentals, and comprehensive style of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu that I feel blessed to be able to learn. Gracie Barra Wisconsin has been my home for a while and it has always been welcome and open for new students. Professor Dave is an "Encyclopedia of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu" and he is willing to share his knowledge. His attention to the small details makes a huge difference when it comes to being successful when trying different techniques. GracieBarraWisconsin.com

Professor's love for the art is evident in the way he teaches. he not only teaches a move or a strategy, but why it has to happen. This not only develops concepts, but gives his students multiple applications for the same technique. However, BJJ isn't what makes him a good instructor. I've personally never seen someone with a heart so pure in my life and he's a constant inspiration to his students to be better people in the real world.

Professor Dave is a great instructor who goes out of his way to take care of his students and ensures their progression through the art. If you've gotten an opportunity to work with someone this knowledgeable about BJJ you know what I'm speaking about.

I had the pleasure of facing Dave in a submission tourney in North Caorlina back in the fall/winter 2003. He had just returned from deployment in Iraq. He ran through the division, submitting everyone including some enormous guy who was +350lbs in the finals. He was nicest guy I ever lost to and raised the hand of everyone he fought when the match was over. Good to see he's doing well!

Dave Rosenmarkle is one of the nicest guys in BJJ! Goes out of his way to make sure you're learning and focuses as much time as he can on anyone. Knowledgeable, professional, sincere, and a leader.

Faced off against Dave in the finals of Submissao Germany in '06 (Adv GI). Really technical guy with solid grips. Great trianlges. I remember his squad from Garmisch-Partenkichen(?) and they all did well in that tournament. Really good group of guys. Much respect!

Professor Dave has a way of connecting with students like no other. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and keeps every training opportunity exciting and full of fresh and new technique. He is an amazing instructor and it is a blessing to train under him. I am going in my 5th year with Professor Dave and I couldn't imagine training anywhere else.

Professor Dave is amazing. He treats everyone like family and welcomes you to the community with open arms. On top of that he offers top notch instruction on both the basics at the heart of jiujitsu and evolutionary techniques.

Professor Rosenmarkle has a deep love of the game and I've seen it time and time again in the way he works one on one with students. He is one of the most personable men you could meet, and is as witty in conversation as he is with technique on the mats. If you're looking to compete, then Professor Rosenmarkle is your teacher. Many of the techniques you learn from him he's hit in competition. He'll also get you into the right mindset (he's a natural motivator). On and off the mats you are considered family. The atmosphere in the gym is very friendly, and you'll feel welcomed by all.

Professor Dave Rosenmarkle is a master instructor. Clearly he knows Bazilian jiu jitsu, but more than that he has an incredible gift of teaching it to others. Professor Dave uses BJJ to teach others about themselves, about living life, about being a better person, and overcoming life's obstacles. He helps others believe in themselves and motivates them to accomplish their dreams. Professor Dave is a phenomenal instructor and life coach.

Professor Dave is a master in the teaching of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. My son and I have learned so much from his instruction. He is beyond a phenomenal instructor and coach. My son looks up to him and his fellow coaches.

Professor Dave has been a great influence to both of my kids. In both BJJ and how they conduct themselves outside of it. They love going to class as much as they can and are very disappointed when they can't. He is always willing to talk with them when they have questions or problems, and gives them useful tools for all parts of life. We couldn't ask for more!

The atmosphere Professor Dave has built in his school is absolutely amazing. Speaking as a beginner to jiu jitsu, the feeling of support inspires confidence and willingness to keep coming back for more, and what more could a novice ask for? Professor Dave is an incredible coach, bringing infinite patience and humor to the mat. His school is clearly a welcoming environment for both advanced and beginners alike. Couldn't be happier to be a member!

Professor Dave has poured into my son, Cole. He's built up my sons self confidence and has taught him much about Bjj, character, discipline, respect, sportsmanship, community. We are so happy to be part of his Brazilian jiu-jitsu community!
