Niko is a TOP BJJ/MMA instructor. He's a "hard working student" of the MMA scene and brings you always the most updated/effective moves. He's an instructor for all the levels of BJJ/MMA. Will pass you the basics if you don't have them, and can take your game to the next level if you already have good basics. Also, training atmosphere is great at Niko's class. People from different academies are always welcome to have a good time! Don't miss if you're around.

you are going to know his latest Bjj & MMA skill soon if you take his class. his completely logical coaching skill is gifted and just incredible. every techniques he explains to me are very "make sense" I believe he guides everyone perfectly to learn the techniques via situational sparring and drill. he accepts all the questions you have anytime. if you ask him 1 question, he answers you 10 other possibility about it. Niko Han is not just a great instructor. He is my mentor. Niko always gives me proper advice about BJJ technique and about my life too. He always listen to me well even though I don't speak good English.

Niko is a great instructor as he is a very good expositor, who can really explain BJJ philosophy, fundamental concepts and techniques very well. He will make you understand the underlying concept/goal before breaking down the details of the mechanics of each technique. He can really make students incorporating materials he teach to their game. Note that Niko emphasizes STREET READY BJJ, that is BJJ that is useful in real fight situation, where anything goes. He really emphasize the MARTIAL ART aspect of BJJ, the SELF DEFENSE in real nasty fight situation, not the sport kind of BJJ. But dont get me wrong, that he does not care about the sport aspect. He cares too. In fact, in Indonesia BJJ/MMA/Submission Grapplign competitions, you will see his students storm the competitions and become champions. So, STREET READY and competitions proven. :) He's very attentive to his students, will be patiently taking you to the next level, answering your questions, and guide you. Technically & mentally. Last thing, not just becoming an instructor, he's a nice cool guy that you just want to hang out with as your buddy. So, anytime you are in Bali, you shoud drop by at his gym. And roll.

Niko is indeed an wwesome instructor... i have been an international judo representative for new zealand in judo and while in bali decided to try my hand at bjj ..every class was challenging and at an appropriate level.... i have been a judo instructor for over 30years and can say that Niko epitomises the virtues of an exellent coach....he is patient.. very clear and precise in his teaching and has a teaching plan....and a bloodynice guy.... i had a couple of nogi rolls with Niko and was totally impressed with his silky smooth skills.... if you get the cha ce to trainwith him you wont be dissapointed

Well, I don't usually register on website to make a comment but for Mestre Niko Han I'll do an exception. I spent almost 20 years in studying and competing in martial art and fighting sport, only few years in bjj. In spite of the short BJJ/MMA experience I met also some "big names" of the business, among others black belt. BUT Recently I had opportunity to train with him in Bali, at Synergy MMA...and I was astonished by him and his knowledge/attitude/spirit. I would repeat exactly the words of all the comments here above.... or maybe those words are not even enough. I guess You won't find a MASTER and a human being like Niko Han so easily, around the world. Mestre Niko Han is the MAN we all should hope to find along our way. Enrico - Italy
