I been training with Leandro for over 2 years! He breaks down Jiujitsu to make sure everyone understands it. I train privets with him too and with thats he makes my jiujitsu better than just taking my regular classes. He is not just a teacher that will just do his job but he will ask about you day and trys to give you an advice and a smile to make your day better. He is not your average teacher because he will make you feel like you belong at his Academy.

I am a brown belt under Leandro. He is one of the best teachers I have trained under. His teaching style is different from a lot of other instructors. He doesn’t just show a technique. He breaks down the technique and the theory behind it. Leandro has helped my game grow over this past year and I have been lucky enough to have had a chance to train under him.

Leandro is a great instructor. He breaks down the technique for us to perfect every move. Leandro hails from a family whom has been doing jiujitsu for a long time. Leandro has made jiujtsu for my family a way of life. My son and husband both train. My son is 6 and has stared learning from Leandro since 3. He has the skills you wouldn't see in a 6 year old. We are forever grateful for such a great instructor.

When i first trained with Leandro over 2 years ago, he started with breaking down my jiujitsu so i can understand my mistakes. Oh and did i make mistakes!!! He rewrote and changed my game. He brought me to a new level of jiujitsu that i thought i could never reach. He teaches with positive reinforcement, and this has helped with my confidence in my own skills. He's been a true friend and teacher. Not the type to bring you down, but bring you up and SMASH you while he smiles.

I have been training jiu jitsu on and off for almost a year. Since having trained with Leandro, he has motivated and encouraged me to train on a regular basis. I appreciate that he explains each technique so that it makes sense to a beginner like me. Although I am one of the smallest in my class, Leandro has taught me that it is not all about strength, but technique. I am able to roll with other students feeling prepared and confident that I can pass, sweep, mount, and/or submit. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, friendship and humor with your "favorite class".

Leandro is an amazing instructor, not only because of his skills on the mat, but because of his relatability. He has the inate ability to put a smile on any one of his student's faces and turn their day around. Jiu Jitsu is not just about competing or going to practice, it's about creating a sense of community and family. Don't let the personality fool you though, he'll choke you out quicker than the blink of an eye! Thank you Leandro for coming to our school and starting an amazing program for our members to partake in.

Leandro is an awesome coach. The first time my daughter took his class she was hooked, because of his magnetic personality. He has a way of teaching the kids on their level, yet still has their respect. He even talked me into joining the adult class and it has been a awesome experience.
