Passion, dedication, honor, trust, integrity, love, and community are words that describe Itabora's commitment to teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He defines love for this amazing martial art. I am extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity and privilege to train under his guidance for the past 4 1/2 years. Thank you Mestre; ossss!

Itaborá Ferreira inspires me everyday that I have the privilege to train with him. His commitment to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a model for our whole team to follow, and it brings honor to the art of Jiu Jitsu. To me, he is family. Throughout our friendship, he has really done a lot for me and continues to be a great mentor. I hope to let nothing get in the way of what we share. Everyday, good or bad, Mestre Itaborá makes me realize how much I have. The tight community that he built in our team, is a second family to me.

I have only been training under Itabora Ferreira for a short time, but I am very impressed with how well he runs his class. I have never trained in formal jiu jitsu prior to his class, but Itabora has opened my eyes to a new and very effective Martial Art. I respect what he has accomplished, appreciate what he is doing, and I am excited about what the future holds for all of us that are lucky enough to train with Itabora Ferreira. Semper Fidelis!

I have been training with Mestre Itabora for 3 years in jiu jitsu and a year in capoeira. He is a great teacher, student, and friend. He leads by example not only on the mat, but also in life. Mestre Itabora inspires everyone to become better people, to respect everyone but also voice your opinions when you feel the need to correct a wrong action. His passion for jiu jitsu and capoeira is spreading, and I see it with every new face coming to class for the first time. It makes me happy to see all his hard work and dedication bringing together such a wonderful group of strangers that eventually became my second family.

I signed up for the 1 week free trial with Undisputed Boxing Gym to learn jiu jitsu. After 2 lessons I'm signing up for the year commitment. Mestre Itabora is extremely patient with his students and takes the time to insure you learn the proper technique. He is clearly passionate about jiu jitsu and teaching. I saw him on his hands and knees cleaning the mat in addition to a machine on a regular basis. I'm excited to learn everything I can from Mestre Itabora.

I have had the honor of being a student of Mestre Itabora's for the last 4 years. He is passionate about the art forms he teaches and will work with you until you get it. He is always open to questions and will often demonstrate the answer to your question to help with understanding the answer. He emphasizes safety above all else. Every class he talks about form and the safest way to perform the movements to keep you safe as well as to help prevent injuries. He promotes a friendly atmosphere where all his students are encouraged to talk and make friends. He is a wonderful instructor, we are lucky to have him!

Mestre Itabora is a coach, role model, and great friend rolled into one remarkable human being. Besides actively competing in BJJ, he dedicates his time to us, his students. The man's work ethic is nothing short of amazing (truly inspiring). He teaches us to give the gift and forget, and echoes this message in his actions. He's there to lend a helping hand at nearly every turn, and divides his time equally among beginners and long-time students. To Mestre, quality is not judged by athleticism, but by character. And in this way, he carries on the fine tradition of not only BJJ, but of martial arts in general. His watch words are safety and hard work. The man inspires me to bring my best to the gym and leave it on the mat. He has been pivotal not only in my development as a BJJ practitioner, but also capoeirista and further, as a human being. Training with Mestre Itabora is like being insured by Allstate. You're in good hands. Perry Gilliam (Milagre)
