Bruno has changed the way I look at training and has helped to give me confidence in areas that I never felt comfortable when on the ground. Awesome instructor and a great friend/mentor.

If you have the opportunity to train with Bruno Bastos, do it. Proven, tested and consistent training. Not to mention the competition team that surrounds Bruno and for good reason too.

With all of us working with Bruno so long, surprised we haven't all gone blind of over exposure to pure awesomeness!

Professor Bastos has changed the lives of my entire family. Keeping them from training is now a punishment for the kids when they act up. Without his guidance, there is no way that I would be where I am today on or off the mat. OSSS!

I first met Bruno in 2011 I drove all the way from west tx to Dallas where he was teaching at the time just to learn from him, I attended one class and learned so much and now that he moved to midland I always came to him for advice and help and he always welcomed me not as a student but as a friend ,watching him compete motivated me to go back to competing and I thank him for that, he is true and dedicated to the BJJ lifestyle and now that I am part of his team my game has gotten only better cuz of his teachings and also advice on and off the the mat , OBRIGADO BRUNO BASTOS OSSS!!!!

In the short amount of time I have trained with Professor Bruno at his gym I have learned so much about what it takes to train in this sport and about myself. Bruno pushes you to be better today than you were yesterday, shows such a passion for jiu jitsu and his students,is a great motivator and teacher of this amazing sport and always makes you feel welcome in his 'family like' gym. It's been an honor to train with Bruno and his amazing team.

I love training with Bruno, Brad and the other students. I felt very welcome from day one and the dojo has a family atmosphere. The instruction is very good and explained thoroughly. Bruno definitely knows his stuff. I always look forward to training. Like others have said, he's a friend and mentor.

I've trained with Bruno for only a few months but after training at another gym for a couple of years I feel as though I've learned more in the short amount of time with Bruno as I did in two years somewhere else. He's professional, incredibly knowledgable, patient and at the same time passionate about the details and the conditioning it takes to perform at your best. My love of Jiu Jitsu grows everyday due to Bruno Bastos BJJ.

I appreciate his team accepting me as a family. And second, Bruno is going to take me to the next level. I am blessed. Everyone in West Texas is blessed.

I first started my 7 year old in Bruno's school because he was being bullied at school. He also needed to learn focus and discipline. What started as a means to an end has become a fresh new start. The people at the school feel like family and Bruno's instruction and great personality have had my 5 year old son sign up a few months later and myself soon after. He is patient, knowledgable, and above all, he genuinely cares about his students and their passion for BJJ. I could not have asked for a better mentor for my entire family. Bruno is one of the best BJJ instructors because he lives and breathes the practice, and cares about the individual student as a whole. We are extremely blessed to have him.

Bruno is a very Respectable man. And personal role model for me. There are several traits i wish to acquire from him. I started in his school at the beginning of the summer, timid and reserved, now only three months later im completely different. Even only being here for such little time, his school has enabled me so much. Personality wise, and with skill in the martial art. His school teaches so much. And i still have a worlds length of a journey ahead of me, that im glad to have Bruno by my side for. I fully admire him. Great teacher and man. OSSS
