Weiss is the representation of a true champion and the perfect example of a great instructor. He breaks things down in a way that will work for you and your style. He will work with you and show you how to correct any weaknesses he can see in your game. A tested competitor, and a great friend. This is the guy you will be seeing in the big leagues one day for sure.

The head instructor at my previous school promoted me from a three stripe white belt to a blue belt within the first six weeks that Weiss worked with me. I had tried to take privates with others before and never missed a class but wasn't progressing at all. Weiss' instruction was different because he explained WHY moves worked the way they did. This helped me understand my own personal physics exponentially more than just being told what to do. It also encouraged me to adapt and vary what I learned according to my preference and body type. Weiss' technical knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to connect with his students are what set him apart. If you ever have the opportunity to work with him I would highly recommend it.

Weiss is an active (and successful) competitor as well as am instructor which brings a high level of legitimacy to what he teaches. This also keeps his teachings current as well. He is very approachable and extremely humble. Even more importantly, he can translate techniques to any skill level or body type. He also focuses on the functionality of a technique or series. Weiss has a true passion for the art and it shows every time he competes, trains, or instructs.

Weiss is a standup guy who is a true martial artist that excels in BJJ. He is extremely articulate in his instruction. As many here have mentioned he has an innate ability to cater to one's body type and style to help his students succeed. Weiss is a tremendous competitor with over 60 wins. I have no doubt that he will attain all the goals he has set out for himself.

Weiss Is the true definition of a martial artist. His passion, dedication and knowledge of the sport is amongst the best I've come into contact with. What sets him apart from other instructiors is how much he truly cares about his students and the ability to translate the moves to his students and articulate as to how and why they will work. He understands the dynamics of the sport and is an expert at critiquing the smallest details which translate into the move working or not. Beginner or expert Weiss will bring something to the table that everyone can learn from. Hands down the best instructor I've ever had and I'm honored to learn from him. He will have his breakthrough soon enough and when he does nobody will be safe

Weiss is extremely passionate about the art of Jiu-Jitsu. He is a very accomplished competitor and he will without a doubt accomplish big things in his BJJ career. He has the spirit of a warrior and the heart of a champion. Not to mention a robust combination of natural talent and incredible work ethic. Many athletes may leave something to be desired when it comes to teaching, but this is not the case with Weiss. He has a great depth of knowledge and is eager to share. He is very humble and patient- always happy to answer questions. And he knows how to push you just outside your comfort zone to help you grow as a martial artist.

Weiss is great at integrating novices into his class. His attention to detail has made me a better BJJ practitioner. He breaks it down so you understand the mechanics behind the move. He'll make you feel like a friend not a student.

Weiss has an ability to make any student whether new to BJJ or seasoned practitioner feel welcomed. Along with that the support he gives to all students brings everyone together to form a family. If you're looking to be a world champion or just to get in shape training under Weiss will get you there.

Weiss is a high level instructor/competitor that is down to earth and very relatable. He makes everyone that walks in the door feel more than comfortable but part of the team. His knowledge, hard work and love of jiu jitsu shows in the fast progression of all of his students. His style of teaching has given me the confidence and skill to compete in large tournaments, He's gotten me in the best shape of my life and brought my game to a level that I didn't think I could reach. He has changed my life for the better, training under him was the best decision I've made. Weiss is an instructor and coach who really cares.

A lot of coaches show you a move and tell you to drill it - wash, rinse, repeat no questions asked. Weiss has the uncanny ability to demonstrate a technique, break it down for you as an individual, and then tap you with it right after. Some coaches struggle to adapt techniques for different body types, and a lot of coaches can't effectively utilize all the techniques they teach - Weiss is on a completely different realm. I've been in this game since 2007 and have had Weiss host seminars on two separate occasions at my Academy. We have everything from overweight mothers looking to get back in shape, children of all ages, to young competitors looking to win as many tournaments as possible. Weiss was able to adapt every technique he taught to help each person on an individual basis, no questions asked, and with a smile on his face. He brings an excellent yet hard working vibe to the mats, and cares about each and every one of his students. I'm proud to be one of his Purple Belts and look forward to watching him and all of his students grow to amazing achievements.
